Throughout the year, the SJRCS community comes together to celebrate special liturgies prepared thoughtfully by the students themselves. In addition to observing significant holy days, these masses, including the always memorable Mother’s Day Mass, provide students with an opportunity to give thanks. Reconciliation services are also held before Christmas and during Lent.
From the Mother Teresa Harvest Mass in September when we ask for God’s blessing on a new school year to the Graduation Mass in June which provides a prayerful send-off to our departing students, our liturgical celebrations reflect the belief “that Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students” (author unknown).
